ABOUT US
“My journey into hospitality started from 2006 as a food runner to a front of house host. Although I have been a qualified chef since 2009, I was always put in the front of the restaurants and venues to interact with the customers. I guess I could always start a conversation that would lead to sales. Years of experiences, starting from Melbourne’s iconic Italian laneway called Degraves street to the top Hat restaurants like Tonka . Working with some of the finest and passionate people who put so much love into what they have created has made me fall in love with my true skills. Having the luxury to work side by side with a few Australian Masterchef contestants and traveling around the world to meet some amazing hidden hospitality gems have prepared me to come this far. I am grateful for all the work that I was blessed with. A massive shout out to all the hospo owners , team and interns who I have worked with in the last 17 years. It is time to do it by myself that I truly love and believe in.
HK is a new addition to the beautiful Western community that we love. Although HK offers a very similar kind of service as most Private chefs, our vision of success is very unique. We choose to embrace our success through networking and building a hospitality community. Making the choices to work with freedom and passion is our first goal. Creating an achievable pathway for the upcoming generations to take on leadership from a very young age. We will provide exposures to the small business to connect to the like minded leaders to offer guidance and support.
Finally my dream and my Passion project. Through HK I am introducing the fundamental life skill to the next generation and it’s called “Feed me to build me”. I hope every young individual learns to cook basic, healthy and budget meals from a very young age to help them have a great relationship with food. I want them to know how to love and respect the most natural source of life and understand its value and impact on both physical and mental health.”
